In the vlog of the Sacred city, you talked illogically about Makkah. You have closed the comment box, which is a laborious process. That's why I am replying to you here below,, Makkah's sanctity is proven in the Qur'an, because there is no room for doubt in the words of Allah. Makkah is associated with the last prophet. Islamic history is confirmed by Bukhari and other Islamic books. Makkah was created by Allah Ta'ala through the existence of his last prophet. The city's geography, weather and social activities were all created according to the existence of the last prophet. Allah made this city safe because Muhammad was to be born here and the foundation of Islam was to be laid. If there was an alternative to Mecca-Petra, the situation and society there would be different. That is, Makkah was not in accordance with the program of Muhammad and Islam. Allah Almighty made the foundation of Makkah only under the program of the birth and upbringing of Muhammad and the foundation of Islam. Petra can be associated with the ancient history of the Arab race. When Alexander the Great occupied this region, there was a nation living in Petra who worshiped idols. After losing the battle with Alexander the Great's army, this nation lost its existence. The successors of Petra are scattered, this city falls. Similarly, in the Roman Empire, this city was captured and ruled by the Romans. There is also a hint about Petra in the Qur'an which says, Before you, there have been many powerful nations among you who refused to recognize their God and We erased their existence. In history, the destruction of Petra is much earlier than Islam. That is, Petra was destroyed centuries before the existence of Muhammad. You are giving the wrong direction to historical facts and words. The existence of Mecca in Islamic history is very strong. God has made this city safe. Your arguments are ridiculous. You want to destroy the importance of Makkah which is associated with a negative and negative psychology. I feel this while listening to you. It is to mislead the Muslims by making the status of Makkah false and declaring the Islamic history incorrect. This can damage your status. You will be frustrated with your aimless program...

Now Dan Gibson has to come to terms that Ummayads had nothing to do with Islam. Right from Umar alKhatab to Abd AlMalik Marwan were all Christians. Islam was fabricated only during the Abbasids, especially Yazid and his sons between 700 and 750CE. Also, now we know both Uthman and Muhammad were fictitious characters. Every Quranic manuscripts in various museums were also tampered heavily during 20th century.

The Kaaba is not the building that is being mentioned in the Quran. The holy place of worship that the Quran is repeatedly mentioning is Masjid Al Haram, sometimes referred to as the Antique Masjid (Masjid Al Ateeq). The Kaaba is unfortunately not the Masjid Al Haram that the Quran has been referring to ! The Kaaba is a wording used by the Pagans of Petra which means the cube or the square. These buildings existed in Petra and northern Arabia a long before the monotheistic religion of: submission to the will of God called "islam" in Arabic which is the same religion of the Jews and the Christians being the doctrine preached by Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Pagans wanted to continue the worship of the black stones in Petra represented by their cubic temples. Marwan ibn AbdulMalik wanted to bring an end to this practice, however the Pagans escaped with the black stones to avoid Persecution by Al Hajjaj. The Masjid Al Haram referred to in the Quran is the holy sanctuary that is sacred to Jews, Christians and the true believers among today's Muslim population. Marwan ibn Abdulmalik has built the the dome of the rock building on the holy square of the Masjid Al Haram being the common holy ground for all the monotheists.

If you read Ouran - Surah Al-Fath 48:24 - Prophet Muhammad wanted to perform Umrah in Mecca on the 2nd Hijirah "The peace treaty of Al-Hudaybiyyah." Allah said (and He has restrained the hands of men from you,) meaning, `no harm that your enemies had planned against you, both fighting and warfare, touched you. Allah also restrained the hands of men, whom you left behind close to your families and children, from harming them,' 1. Where was Hudaibiyah? Hudaibiyah is near Mecca. If you study early Islamic Studies you must come across the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyah. If Mecca is Petra, the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyah never happens. 2. Another pre-Islamic event, the Abraha elephants army. The Abyssinian, Christian king of Himyarite marched upon the Ka'bah in Mecca with a large army, which included war elephants, intending to demolish it. Prophet Muhammad's paternal grandfather, Abd al-Muttalib, put the battle in God's hands, realising that he could not take on the forces of Abraha. If you visit Taif - Abrahah's elephant army route is located in the vicinity of Taif and faces the Hijjaz. This area is said to be the route of Abrahah's elephant army and also his cavalry. This path is made of granite stones that are not all the same size. There is also a place that is said to be Abrahah's army camp to rest. The Arabs call this place the Elephant Path. Abrahah's army well is believed to have been dug by Abrahah's army around Mecca before moving to destroy the Kaaba. The wells are believed to be 5 in total. Most likely to accommodate dozens of elephants and horses. Looking at the well, the war and the siege took months. The Abrahah's wells still exist today.

Thanks dear Dan for your great research. I want to say something about this mater according to Quranic instructions & the archeological research done by you. --------------------- Bacca's Baitullah to Macca's Masjidul Haram~ ~Foundation of the first house was made by the prophet Ibrahim and his elder son Ismail at Bacca (may be Petra), which Allah has mentioned in the Qur'an as 'My House' (Baytiya), so It is called Baitullah or House of Allah. This was the "first Qibla" of Prophet Ibrahim (as) and the followers of Islam. Naturally it was also the 1st Qibla of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). ~Regarding Bytullah's foundation in Mecca- *Al-Quran- <>That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. (36:6) <>And among them are the "Ummi-Una" - those who know nothing of the Book of Allah except as dreamers. They have nothing but imagination. (2:78) ~If Prophet Ibrahim (AS) had already come to Mecca and laid the foundations of the Kaaba, then why does the Holy Qur'an instruct that the inhabitants and their forefathers there were not warned earlier? As a result they were all unware or ignorant of the knowledge of the divine book. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not unlettered or uneducated in worldly knowledge. Rather, he was chosen as a prophet from among the ummi qaum and was given clear instructions from Allah Almighty to warn such an ummi qaum i.e. community by revealing the Qur'an to him. Details are given in the following link- facebook.com/100031725759944/posts/pfbid02gVFNNyMNjkLw17j4utQzyHWMZWPZxegB7TUji3sdUKoLwsC3t2Qi22nZdDmGj2Enl/?app=fbl ~If the Kaaba was already in Mecca and Ibrahim and Ishmael (AS) came there and laid the foundation for the repair of the Kaaba, then the people there and their forefathers should not have been completely ignorant or unaware of the knowledge of the Holy Book. There have been many ups and downs and devastating events in the history of Islam. As a result, many true histories may be hidden behind lies. Nowhere in the Qur'an does it say to worship the house "Kaaba", or whatever is in it, but (106:3) it only instructs to worship the Lord of this house. ~According to the verse no. (14:37): If there was no cultivable land in Bacca then how did the people there get so many fruits as food for their livelihood? Therefore, in search of truth, this matter deserves to be researched according to the instructions of the Qur'an and archeological evedences. ~The Holy Qur'an instructed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to warn the "ummul qura" (Mother of Cities) and its surrounding cities (6:92). Some researchers claim that "Ummul Qura" refers to Bakka i.e. Petra according to archaeological research. Because Petra was once an important trading area. Famous cities and ports are located around it. ~Recent archaeological research has revealed that, at that time the land of Petra was uncultivable. This place is described in the Qur'an (14:37) as having once been the an uncultivated valley. But the descendants (Nabatinis) of Prophet Ibrahim and Ishmael, (as) took a revolutionary initiative. They very systematically took measures to store and properly supply the water in the hilly areas. As a result, a large part of the uncultivated area became arable and they became self-sufficient in food shortage. *Al-Qur'an- <>Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your Inviolable House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful. (14:37) ~Over a long period of time, after the death of Prophet Ibrahim and Ishmael (as), the community of Bacca i.e. Petra turned towards paganism. As a result, Almighty Allah sent great punishment there. Some of the people who survived fled from there and sought refuge in the distant Macca. Going there, they built a cube-shaped house "Kaaba" in the style of Baitullah, but as per the old practice they indulged in paganism again. ~Historical accounts indicate that the people of Mecca indulged in idolatry in the Kaaba and turned away completely from divine teachings. The group who guarded the Kaaba at that time and indulged in paganism is called the Quraysh. After a long period of time Allah has chosen Muhammad as a prophet from the people of Macca, who were Ummi and indulged in paganism. Allah revealed the Qur'an on him. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was given the mission of preaching the guidance of the Qur'an by Allah Almighty. But the pagans of Macca denied his prophethood and tried to torture and even kill him. Then he hijara to Madina along with his disciples. After the conquest of Macca this cube shaped house "Kaaba" was transformed and established by prophet Muhammad as the symbol of uniqueness of Allah. Allah is the central or main power source of all creations. Muslims don't worship the Kaaba. They only tawaf it like Baitullah & remember the uniqueness of Almighty and All-knowing Allah. ~The area surrounding the Kaaba is called Masjid-ul-Haram, where Muslims pray to the Almighty Allah and is an inviolable place. Historically the black stone carries nothing but the memory of the Prophet Muhammad. From that point of view it can only be a visitable object. There is nothing mentioned in the Quran about the black stone & zamzam well and these have nothing to do with Allah. Therefore, if anyone exaggerate these, there is a possibility of getting involved in sins like shirk rather than virtue. ~Prophet Muhammad was sent by Almighty Allah with the mission of spreading the guidance of the Qur'an to Ummul qura i.e. Bacca (Petra) and its adjacent cities. Therefore, after the death of Prophet Muhammad, his followers tried to fulfill that responsibility despite the conflict among themselves. As human beings they were certainly not above deviation. However, most of them devoted their lives to spread the unadulterated message of the Qur'an from one end of the world to the other. They achieved the impossible in a short span of time and their fame will be written in golden letters in the history of the world.

Please share your thoughts on Christian narrative as well. To my understanding of the history of Christianity, Jesus never preached bible in his lifetime. Bible was invented by Paul the Jew long after the death of Jesus. Jesus never preached Christianity or visited churches. There was no church in his lifetime. Same is the case with Cross of slavery which Christians worship and hang around their necks. Bible and Christianity is an invented religion by Jews of that time. Could you elaborate on this keeping the history in front?

Psalm 110:1 A Psalm by David. Yahweh says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.” In other words, God is telling someone, to sit next to Him while he makes enemies submit to this person. Interestingly, in Islamic tradition, there is one that says that the name of Muhammed was written on the Throne alongside that of Allah. This has its own problems. Doesn't your name upon something imply ownership of the thing? Can Muhammed be the one referred to in Psalm 110:1? But there is a problem. The Quran says in 4:158 that Jesus was the one taken up to God. So if anyone is plausibly the one in Psalm 110:1, it is he. Anyone else is speculation unsupported by the Quran. There is even a bigger problem: Who has the ability to sit at the Right Hand of God? If a name, whether Muhammed or other, is written on the Throne of Allah, can it be any regular mortal? What do you conclude?

Doesn't the word "Medina" simply mean "city"? 28:18 And he became inside the city (l-madīnati الْمَدِينَةِ ) fearful and anticipating [exposure], when suddenly the one who sought his help the previous day cried out to him [once again]. Moses said to him, "Indeed, you are an evident, [persistent] deviator." 9:120 It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah (l-madīnati الْمَدِينَةِ ) and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self.... Unless you want to propose that Medina of 9:120 is in Egypt (or the "The People of The City" is an oblique reference to Egyptians) and talking about Moses the Messenger of Allah, then you need to consider that Medina might be somewhere else that is within a 3 day walk. Because if walking from modern day Medina to Petra in 3 days is impossible, how do you explain that you can pass the ruins of the city of Lot in the morning and at night (37.133-138)?

Hi Dan Are you aware of this historical nugget? My jaw dropped when watching Religion for Breakfast on the issue of why 25 Dec is Christmas. As part of the lecture (starting at 15:13 but jaw drop moment at 16:03 ) in the section on Elagabalus and Aurelian. ruclips.net/video/mWgzjwy51kU/видео.htmlsi=Hmt9-KoZZcGCoSSm Elagabalus was so named because he worshiped the eastern sun god Elegabal whose cultic centre was in what is now Homs. Amazingly the cultic object was a very familiar black stone. This was worshipped and even mounted on a Dias and paraded around on holy days. I think this is probably the black stone currently worshipped much further south. I am not sure if this connection has been made before but felt it important to alert you to it in case it has not. God bless you and your work. I hope you are well. Best wishes D

Dear Dan, first of all thank you as you have invested your life in this work and as a Muslim i have always at a later age considered or thought some of the Muslim history does not make sense and the Quran is very vague in discription so i totally agree that history has been changed to suit rulers of the time however i would like to see some focus or something about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) family or Ali bin abu talib(saw) as they also were very influential even to our present day so surely they played a major role in shaping the religion and must have had some input in the qibla direction as you know the Shia have twelve Imams and the last Imam is said to have been around 232-260 A-H , do we know what point of view was during that period.

Dear Mr. Dan Gibson on the Islamic archeology of the pre-Islamic period. "The Saudi Government banned all excavations of the pre-Islamic era - archaeological discoveries in Saudi Arabia to date: the Qaryat al-Faw." Is it just state law of religion or something else. Destroying traces of one's own country's past by police departments, state religions as law. Religious police. What are they really afraid of? Any stone carving from before the construction of the current center of the Arab world is considered an impurity of Shaytan. It is now possible to determine the location and direction for religious purposes. The GPS system works, but not in Central Europe. The Russians broadcast the intercepted satellite signal on a more powerful transmitter from the Kalingrad Oblast. Here the navigation system no longer works and does not show the direction. Where's the astronomical archeology? The location of ancient cities from times before the first year of Hijri is possible. All cities were named differently in ancient times than they are today. Even today they change the names of many places and cities. I don't know what this is for, but it's weird. Discovering the past through archaeological research threatens to destroy the established social and legal order, and anything that changes the established rules is considered blasphemy. People around the world have long noticed that there is something wrong with reality when something is hidden too much. Qaryat Al-Faw, which is 700 km southwest of Riyadh, is considered one of the most important ancient cities of the pre-Islamic era in Saudi Arabia. The Nabataeans have long disappeared from the pages of world history. In a time when everything disappeared in the outbreak of revolution of the new order of these tribal nations, under a strong leader. Bloody revolution of wars. The Battle of Badr took place in March 624 C.E. However, the revolutionary times of those times had begun a hundred years earlier. Military expeditions of the Byzantines to the land of Arabia. The Eastern Roman Empire accelerated changes in the troubled local population of nomads. Overpopulation and dry climate, lack of food and water, the reason for the military expansion in North Africa, and not only the expansion of the religion of Islam itself, modeled on like Christian missionaries. "From 711 to 718, as part of the expansion of the Umayyad Caliphate, which had conquered North Africa from the Byzantine Empire, nearly all of the Iberian Peninsula was conquered by Muslims from across the Strait of Gibraltar, resulting in the collapse of the Visigothic Kingdom. During the caliphate of the sixth Umayyad caliph, al-Walid I (r. 705-715), Tariq ibn Ziyad departed from North Africa in early 711 across the Straits of Gibraltar with a force of about 1,700 men to launch a military expedition against the Visigoth of Toledo, which controlled the former territory of Roman Hispania." A more interesting time would be from 500 - 600 B.C. city of Petra and ancient city Yatrib. In those times, there was a nomadic settlement oasis in the desert on that gave rise to the present-day city of Mecca. One of the sources supplying the oasis was the wadi's or the Zamzam name spring slightly salty water. Current cities were built from scratch, and all traces of the past were hidden under stone and modern iron was poured with concrete. During the life of Claudius Ptolemy, all this was unknown to people from other places in the world. This has yet to be discovered and described around the 2nd century AD. 😀

Dearest Dan. Ptolemy's geographic map's isn't good. Yes, 'wadis or vadis' in dessert is a rivers. Thousand years in past. More a waters. We a the ring and rain sing a song's. True history is very hard. Everything is changed in future time. Ishmaelite stolen a stone. Broken stones. The Ishmaelites stole the stone and returned the broken one. It was a gift for the rebuilt temple in the former settlement of Mochura, now the city of Mecca. A residential settlement in the style of tents of desert nomads living outdoors under the stars of the sky. The stars showed them which direction to go. They did not know the astrolabe and the sextant. They knew the stars and read from the stars. Shepherds herds of camels and horses, and sheep and sheep were the main meat consumed. Ships from the port of Beronica arrived at the port of Jambia. Gold myrrh and frankincense. Old storylines from history.
